Customers can now open a bank account by identifying themselves using the video KYC process.
Our Online Savings Account opening using Video KYC for Customer Identification Process (V-CIP) is a 100 % paperless, digitally enabled self-assisted Online Account Opening Journey for the customers. One can avail the video KYC account opening process from the Bank of Baroda website using a Mobile Phone, l-pad, Laptop or a Personal Computer. Bank of Baroda video KYC uses Aadhar based OTP to authenticate the customer.

Video KYC account opening is opening a digital savings account online. This account can be opened via video authentication of your PAN and Aadhaar card.
Video KYC enables you to open a full KYC savings account instantly. Wherein, after entering your details, you will have the option to get on a video call with our bank executive to complete your KYC process. The video call will ensure you no longer need to visit the branch to complete your KYC.
Step 1: Fill up a digital account opening form online.
Step 2: Provide consent to the bank to fetch your Aadhaar details and enter your PAN number, then upload your photograph.
Step 3: Click on a link and proceed for video KYC.
Step 4: Allow the bank to access your mobile phone’s location, camera and microphone.
Step 5: Get on a video call with a bank representative.
Step 6: Show your original PAN card and Aadhaar card for verification.
Step 7: The Bank representative will click your photograph during the call.

Yes, e-PAN is a valid document, however it is not a valid document for video KYC.
The video KYC slots are available only between 10 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days as per the list of holidays of Gujarat State.
Once maker completes the Video KYC, the V-KYC session is authorized / verified by the Concurrent Auditor at the V-CIP Cell. The savings account is immediately functional after the authorization from the concurrent auditor.
