Baroda Kisan Credit Card (BKCC) : Benefits

  • Digital BKCC Renewal facility
  • All farmers including tenants and share croppers are eligible for loans
  • Minimum loan amount is Rs. 5,000/-
  • Credit facility is provided for Production Credit and Investment Credit
  • Loans up to Rs. 3.00 Lakhs will be charged @ 7%p.a, subject to Govt. of India providing Interest Subvention to Bank on such advances
  • Interest at SB rate on credit balance in account
  • Coverage available under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana
  • Concession available in ROI for existing regular borrowers
  • Limit is valid for 5 years
  • Eligible for free insurance cover of Rs. 50,000/ under Personal Accident Insurance Scheme

Baroda Kisan Credit Card (BKCC) : Features

Kisan Credit Card Scheme aims at providing adequate and timely credit support from the banking system under a single window to the farmers for their cultivation & other needs as indicated below:

  • To meet the short term credit requirements for cultivation of crops including fodder crops.
  • Post-harvest expenses.
  • Produce marketing loan.
  • Consumption requirements of farmer household.
  • Working capital for maintenance of farm assets and activities allied to agriculture, like dairy, poultry, fisheries, piggery, sericulture etc.
  • Investment credit requirement for agriculture and allied activities like purchase of farm equipment/machinery like pump sets, sprinklers/drip irrigation equipment, pipe line, power tiller, tractor, sprayers, milk animals, vehicles for transportation of farm produce etc.

Baroda Kisan Credit Card (BKCC) : Eligibility Criteria

  • All farmers – individuals/joint borrowers who are owner cultivators
  • Tenant farmers, oral lessees and sharecroppers etc.
  • Self Help Groups (SHGs) or Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) of farmers including tenant farmers, sharecroppers etc.
  • Recorded/registered sharecroppers and tenant farmers who are cultivating crops for a period not less than five years in order to meet the production credit needs are also eligible.
  • The individual tenant farmers / share croppers cultivating crops on oral lease basis who are resident of the village at least for a period of 3 years continuously and cultivating lands and raising crops for a reasonably long period, but not less than 3 years could be issued KCC with a farm credit limit upto Rs 10000

  • Two Passport sized Photographs
  • ID Proof like Driving License, Aadhaar Card, Voter ldentity Card, passport etc.
  • Document stating Land holding details duly certified by the Revenue authorities/Online Land Records

Processing Charges:

  • Nil Processing charges for aggregate loans upto Rs 3.00 Lakhs.
  • Above Rs 3 to Rs10 Lakhs - Rs 250/- Lakh or part thereof +GST
  • Above Rs 10 Lacs- Rs 350/lac or part thereof

Inspection Charges:

  • Nil Inspection Charges for aggregate loan upto Rs 3.00 Lakhs
  • Above Rs 3 lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs - Rs 250/-
  • Above Rs 10 Lakhs to Rs 1 Crore - Rs 500/-
  • Above Rs 1 Crore - Rs 1000/-

Baroda Kisan Credit Card (BKCC) : Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC)

Age Criteria Minimum 18 years - Maximum up to 70 years as on the date of availing facility (if the age of land holder exceeds 70 years, in such case the legal heirs to be made co borrower)
Quantum of Loan
  • Minimum loan amount: Rs.5000/-
  • Maximum loan amount: No ceiling
Nature of Facility KCC is the nature of revolving cash credit. If KCC account holder is maintaining credit balance in the account then he will be eligible for getting interest in the account at the rate of Saving Bank Account.
Repayment Period Production line of credit will be a revolving agriculture cash credit account subject to annual review valid for 5 years. Investment credit will be DL/TL and repayment period is fixed on a quarterly/half-yearly or annual basis, based on income generation of the farmer.
Security

For Loans upto 1.60 Lakhs

  • DP Note
  • Hypothecation of crops grown /assets to be created out of bank’s finance.

For loans above 1.60 Lakh

  • DP Note
  • Hypothecation of crops grown /assets to be created out of bank’s finance.
  • Equitable Mortgage / Registered Mortgage of land or Third Party Guarantee
Margin
  • Crop Loans/Short Term Loans: Nil
  • Term Loan:
    1. Loan upto Rs 100000- Nil
    2. Above Rs 100000
      • Tractor and heavy agri machinery – 25%
      • Others Loan – 15%
Rate of Interest
Limit up to 3 Lakhs Crop Loan: 7 .00% p.a. (fixed), subject to Govt. of India providing Interest Subvention to Bank on such advances, otherwise applicable rate of interest on such advances shall be One year MCLR+ Strategic Premium
Other than Crop Loan: One year MCLR+ Strategic Premium
Limit above 3 Lakhs to 25 Lakhs One year MCLR+ Strategic Premium+1.25%
Limit above 25 Lakhs One year MCLR+ Strategic Premium+2.00%
Other Informations
  • Legal opinion from Bank empanelled advocate is required for loans above Rs 1.60 Lakhs, where the land is mortgaged /charge is created.
