NRE salary account featured with auto transfer of funds to Flexi-Fixed Deposit account
Baroda NRE Salary Savings Account : Eligibility Criteria
NRI/PIO individual who have gone out for employment and receiving salary and bonuses at a fixed interval from their employer
Baroda NRE Salary Savings Account : Document Required
Employee ID of the applicant / Latest 3 month’s salary slip / Letter of employer confirming employment in addition to the identification documents required for KYC compliance.
Baroda NRE Salary Savings Account : Fees & Charges
Cheque book:
- If QAB is more than Rs.2 lacs there will be no charges.
- Rs. 5/- per cheque book leave where QAB is upto Rs.2 lacs
Debit card
- No Issuance charges for debit card.
For closure of Account within a year :
- If account is closed beyond 14 days but within 1 year of the first customer induced transaction – Applicable charges
- No charges if the account is closed within 14 days of first customer induced credit into the account.
- No charges, if account is closed due to death of Account Holder.
Internet Banking / Mobile Banking:
- Free as per eligibility.
- IMPS/NEFT / RTGS charges through bank counter and Electronic Channels like bob World Internet and bob World as applicable.
SMS charges:
- As applicable
Baroda NRE Salary Savings Account : Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC)
- Employee ID of the applicant / Latest 3 month’s salary slip / Letter of employer confirming employment in addition to the identification documents required for KYC compliance
- Account can be opened either individually or jointly with other NRIs / PIOs
- Funds deposited in the account will be in the form of fresh remittances from overseas or transfer from other NRE / FCNR (B) account
- Auto-transfer of funds exceeding Rs 50,000/- to Flexi-Fixed Deposit (FFD) account with a minimum of Rs 10,000 for 12 months and auto re-transfer to the account from FFD in multiples of Rs 1000/-. Balance of Rs 50,000/- is to be maintained at all times for availing this facility.
