Baroda Reloadable Card Virtual Variant : Features

  • This Virtual Variant of Baroda Reloadable card is issued in Indian rupees with minimum amount of Rs.100 and maximum amount of Rs.1,00,000 in multiple of Rs. 1.
  • Instant Activation.
  • Cards are valid for maximum period of 36 months from the date of issuance or date of expiry mentioned on card, whichever is earlier.
  • The card can also be reloaded multiple number of times (within the maximum limit).
  • Fully compliant with KYC, AML/CFT requirements as per RBI guidelines.
  • Cash withdrawal at ATM is not allowed as it is non-tangible.
  • Usable at e-commerce/online and online platform only.
  • No balance transfer from one card to another is permissible.

  • Login on customer self-service portal and register yourself for viewing the full card details, card expiry date and CVV number.
  • Make a separate safe note of your card number and customer care number for emergency use.
  • Hotlist card immediately by calling customer care Number, if you lost your mobile phone or found that your card details are compromised.

  • What is Baroda Reloadable Card?

    Baroda Reloadable Card is a Prepaid Card that facilitates various transaction/payment related needs. Card usage is restricted to the amount loaded on the card. If required, customer can reload amount on the card.

  • What are the variants available for Baroda Reloadable Card?

    Baroda Reloadable Card is available in two variants i.e. Physical and Virtual.

  • What is the Virtual variant of Baroda Reloadable card?

    There is no Physical KIT (card and PIN) provided to the customer, so the beneficiary has to visit the customer self-service portal https://bobprepaid.yappay.in mandatorily to view his/her card details and generate the PIN for doing the transactions. Card holder can perform the e-com/Online transactions through OTP also.
    10 digit card kit number & card load amount details will be provided to the beneficiary of card over SMS and e-mail.

  • What will be the contents of the Reloadable Card Welcome Kit?

    A Welcome Kit will not be provided to the purchaser.

  • When the card is ready for use?

    After receiving the funds along with the application form bank will activate the card on real time. Customer will be notified by SMS on registered mobile number /registered e-mail id and thereafter it can be used for e-commerce/online transactions only.

  • Whether account with Bank of Baroda is needed to purchase Baroda Reloadable Card?

    No. Baroda Reloadable Card can be purchased by both i.e. Bank’s account holder & Non- Bank’s Customer also. Person desirous of purchasing a card can visit any Bank of Baroda branch and purchase a Baroda Reloadable Card over the counter.

  • Which accounts are eligible for purchasing Baroda Reloadable Card?

    Please Note: In case of accounts where more than one account holders are present, multiple cards can be issued, and cards can be issued to each account holder. For corporate customers there is no limit on number of cards per account except Full KYC as bank’s KYC Policy of the beneficiary/cardholder to whom the card is to be issued is to be provided by the corporate.

    No, transfer of funds from one Reloadable Card to another is not allowed.

  • How many number of cards are permitted for retail/corporate customers?

    For retail customers, one card per account holder is allowed. For corporate customers there is no such limit.

  • What is the minimum and maximum amount that can be loaded on the card?

    Minimum load amount is Rs.100. Maximum amount permitted in a card at any point of time is Rs.1,00,000.

    Yes, customer can re-load the card anytime during the validity of card. Card will be reloaded on real time. Customer must approach to any Bank of Baroda Branch for reload request.

  • What is the minimum and maximum value that can be re-loaded on the card?

  • What is PIN and from where will I get it?

    ATM PIN (PIN) is a unique 4 digit secure number assigned to card and known only to customer. It allows you to withdraw cash from ATMs (charges are applicable).Customer is advised to change and memorize pin as soon as he/she receives a new card.
    The beneficiary has to visit the customer self-service portal https://bobprepaid.yappay.in mandatorily to view his/her card details and generate the PIN for doing the transactions.

  • What options should be chosen to withdraw cash from the ATM?

    Cash withdrawal at ATM is not allowed as it is non-tangible.

  • What is the procedure to change the PIN if lost/forgotten?

    Card holder has to visit authorized Bank of Baroda branch for re-issuance of PIN. Based on application received from customer and deduction of applicable charges from card available balance, Physical Pin will be generated and provided to customer.
    The card holder may visit the customer self-service portal https://bobprepaid.yappay.in to re -generate the PIN. The PIN will be delivered to beneficiary registered e-mail id in secured pdf.

  • Can withdrawal of cash from Bank using Baroda Reloadable Card is permitted?

    Baroda Reloadable Card cannot be used for over the counter cash withdrawal.

  • Whether temporary lock/block facility available on the card?

    Yes, login to https://bobprepaid.yappay.in and lock your Baroda Reloadable Card temporarily. Kindly use registered mobile number/KIT number for login.

  • How to view statement of transactions?

    Please login to https://bobprepaid.yappay.in to track all your transactions, anytime, anywhere. Kindly use registered mobile number/KIT Number for login.

  • Whom to contact when a replacement/revalidation of card is needed?

    Customer needs to contact the issuing branch, fill out an application and provide KYC, submit the card (if not stolen/lost) and will receive a new card. Virtual variant will be replaced and revalidated with virtual variant only.

  • How reloading of replacement/revalidated card take place?

    Procedure and terms to reload of replaced card will remain the same as original card. Upon revalidation, old card will be replaced in the system with new one and new card will be linked to the account. Balance available in old card will be transferred to new card on real time after deducting applicable fee & taxes.

  • What is validity duration for the Baroda Reloadable Card?

    Baroda Reloadable Card is valid for maximum 36 months from the date of issuance or the date mentioned in the customer self-service portal whichever is earlier. Upon card expiry, please visit the issuing Branch for revalidation.

  • How to apply for a refund of the card balance?

    Customer may withdraw/utilize the funds available in card and bring the balance in the card to zero and submit a request to surrender the card.

  • What will happen to the balance (if any) in the card after expiry?

    Alert SMS is sent 45 days before expiry of card on registered mobile number of card holder to utilize the funds available. Card holder also has an option of revalidating the card, if the customer fails to utilize the funds before the expiry of card and revalidate the card. The remaining fund (if any) will be transferred to linked account of card holder on request of customer.

  • What is the maximum amount that can be withdrawn from an ATM/swiped at merchant outlet in a day?

    Cash withdrawal at ATM/ purchase transaction on POS is not allowed as it is non-tangible.
