Q: Can I continue to use my existing eVijaya Bank (eVB) Debit Card.

A : Yes, you can continue to use your existing Debit Card issued to you till the expiry of the Debit Card.

Q: Can I continue to use my existing eVijaya Bank (eVB) Debit Card PIN.

A : Yes, you can continue to use your existing Debit Card PIN. However on first usage of your eVB Debit Card at the ATMs of Bank of Baroda, the ATM will prompt for change of PIN.

Q : I want to change my PIN at the ATMs of Bank of Baroda / eVB or eDena Bank (eDB), however the ATM is prompting to use my 14 digit Account Number. As an eVB customer, I have a 15 digit account number.

A : The required IT System upgrade has been made & currently only “Please Enter your Account Number” message is prompted on screen whenever customer desires to change his PIN at Bank of Baroda ATM. You can enter your account number in the ATM.

Q: I have an International Debit Card issued by eVB. I would like to enable my card for International transactions / use.

A: Though you have an International Debit Card issued by eVB, these cards are by default disabled for International transaction / use. If you intend to use your Debit Card for International transactions / use, kindly contact your base branch and you will be issued a new Bank of Baroda International Debit Card for International transactions / use.

For customers of eVB who have used their Debit Cards atleast once prior to 10 February 2020, their cards have been replaced with BOB International variant Debit Cards which are already enabled for International transaction/ use.

Q: I have been issued a V-GenUth ATM card, however I am unable to use the card at an ATM of eVB / Bank of Baroda / eDB.

A: The V-GenUth cards are disabled as they are Magnetic Stripe cards. If you are a ‘Minor’ in terms of age, you will be issued a new Bank of Baroda ‘EMV’ Compliant Debit Card.

If you have attained the age of a ‘Major’, we request you to visit your branch and comply with the KYC requirements as applicable to normal savings accounts. Once the account is converted from V-GenUth Savings Bank accounts to a normal savings account, you will be issued a Bank of Baroda EMV compliant Debit Card.

Q: I am an eVB account holder; earlier I could register / deregister my mobile number, seed my Aadhaar no. and request for an overdraft at eVB ATMs. However, I am unable to access these features now.

A : Certain features viz. Mobile No Registration / Deregistration, Request for Aadhaar seeding and Overdraft request have been disabled for the interim. However, once your branch undergoes IT System upgrade the above features and several other BOB ATM features would be made available to you.
